How did you come about working here?
Diligence and attention to detail. I was formally a historian in my home country before it erupted in rebellion. I lost everything and my life. Like most of us, I was saved by an agent working on their mission. It helped I helped him once, but it was the reason I got killed.You mention the fact that she is still alive. What changed?
What did you not suffer a horrible death before joining? Great, were making the timelines worse... Most of us have died at least once. It causes the least amount of damage when we are removed. When the agent completed his mission he brought me back with him. Honestly death was a better option then bossing these people around, but what can you do.A morbid viewpoint, but you can image why from her situation. It's painful to watch them bumbling around otherwise. If I don't then the would imagine the entire Division would be on fire trying to fix all the issues they cause. My efforts to ensure we do things right got me to this position.How long have you lead the department?
Compared to the others. Not long at all. However, I've likely made the most impact and changes. I'm somewhat of a radical here with my new rules and regulations. I get all the blame while the Prime Director, who approves of these changes, goes scott free. Honestly I'm surprised I haven't been fired yet.

Has there been an event you are proud of resolving?
The D-5 Accident was how I got promoted. The whole mission was a mess and the research behind it was the root cause. I picked up the pieces and it went completely smoothly.She must have been here awhile to see it. You mention that to her hoping for more details.

Yes, very painful. I could go into detail. but I would rather not endure it again.While she doesn't say it, she does bare it. You press further.
Seriously. I don't like talking about it... My issue with the event was that if I just turned my back on the agent then I would have lived out my life without incident. I checked multiple times. I saw everything I missed out on, my family, my career, the lives I brought joy to, everything. Many of us make that mistake here and it is a burden we carry constantly unlike the other departments. Eventually you become dull to it until and asshole brings it up.You take that as the end of that topic.

How do you work with the timelines? What is your process for examining them?
If you have to know I follow a simple code. We have to minimize contact and change. I define change as the alterations of the primary timeline. Each universe has what I would call a primary route it takes. It is the typically strongest current and it very hard to change the outcome no matter how many small changes are made. The secondary routes are typically branched off from one major point. I try and ensure that the routes are stable even if we disagree with their outcomes.
