For years, Brynn journeyed alongside the mage, forming a bond of mentorship and a shared love for nature’s power. She learned the subtle arts of herbalism, the potent language earth magic, and the healing energies woven into the very air of Yrdde. But their tranquil existence shattered when the Empire outlawed natural magic, branding practitioners as threats to order and control.
The sage, sensing the approaching storm of the Arbiters' wrath, vanished, leaving behind only a cryptic message for Brynn, warnings of a growing danger in the far reaches of Yrdde.
Brynn, her heart heavy with loss and her future uncertain, found herself a fugitive in her own homeland. She sought refuge on the fringes of the Empire, then the lawless territories beyond, forever alone, surrounded by countless other wanderers.
