1 - Ring

You'd be surprised how much effort I put into something like this. On the surface, it seems simple. There's a man - not important who he is, just that he's the target - that has done some very bad things. The City Watch would really like to talk with him, but he's very good at avoiding them. Guards like that aren't very good at this sort of thing, which is why they hired us - we are good at this.

The first problem is finding him. Not hard, given that even the Watch could do it. We just had to ask around innocently at a few taverns. A few gold pieces here and there and we know his usual haunts. He's always watching the doors, and has an escape route for any room he's in. Of course, he's watching for the Watch. Hah. Anyway, he's not watching for us.

The second problem is finding a vulnerability. Something that we can exploit to get close to him and gain an advantage. Usually, this is something like a secret, a love, or a fear. For men, I'm usually that vulnerability. Sometimes for women as well, but that's less common. In this case, Valna saw him flirting at a tavern, then he brought the girl upstairs. So, vulnerability established.

The third problem is getting close to him. You might think I could just walk up to him and say "hello", but that wouldn't work. I know I'm one of the most attractive women in the city, and this man is only slightly above average. Going straight at him with a good looking woman is what the Watch did, and he instantly figured that out. So, I have to go at him indirectly. Have a few ales, start giggling and glancing in his direction. With how he looks around the room, he'll catch on.

The fourth problem is getting him to the Watch. I'm not very big. If i try to overpower him, even if I get the drop on him, he could easily knock me out - or worse. That's why I have this ring: it looks pretty, but has a hollow compartment inside, filled with a knock-out poison. Classic assassin's tool. If you want to know where I got it, Arafiel made it for me. Now, I can't just poke him in the middle of he crowd in the tavern and drag him out. I hope it's obvious enough why. So, instead I'll get him upstairs, and once we're alone, I can knock him out. When I do this sort of thing, I usually wait until we're... very busy. He'll be too distracted to notice.

How do I keep the ring on in bed? That's actually simple! I act so passionate I just don't take all of my clothes off. Right now, I'm just wearing my stockings and that ring.

There's just one small problem I've run into. He's choking me.
