Revolution Pirate

A revolution pirate is a former pirate that has redeemed themselves and fights back in the name of something, sometimes overthrowing a corrupt government or rescuing slaves. For the infamous Captain Goldtooth, he worked tirelessly to protect enslaved kids and break them free from their slave masters. He would even offer them a home aboard his ship, the Naughty Hood. Many pirates dream of having a better reputation and making their lives mean something. For a revolution pirate, this means continuing to work on yourself.

Career

Qualifications

Each revolution pirate must have loyalty and good heart. And of course, they must have been a pirate before all of this, and faced a difficult decision that made them realize how corrupt the universe really is.

Perception

Social Status

Other pirates view a revolution pirate in a couple of different ways. Those who are more corrupt will see them as weak and pathetic, while pirates with good hearts but have yet to redeem themselves, see the revolution pirates as heroes who protect the innocent and keep the peace.   The space navy sees the revolution pirates as a nuisance that causes more problems than solves them. Every single time they find more abandoned kids dropped off at their headquarters, they realize that they are in over their heads. A corrupt government that has been overthrown by the revolution pirate drives the space navy mad since they are left with cleaning up the mess.

Operations

Workplace

Most pirate bases are their ships, and some ships reek of booze while looking like a pigsty. Then, there is Captain Goldtooth, who prides himself in keeping his ship clean and tidy, running it with pristine care. Under no circumstances will he allow his crew to slack off and leave a single pile of mess. There are daring, dangerous missions for them to complete, with some not even making it out but becoming legends in the process.

Provided Services

Each revolution pirate offers travel while using their radio transmissions to pick up on government corruption or slavery. In times of dire need, they'll pick up other missions to bring in credits and expect to get paid -- sometimes double the cost if the mission proves out to be more dangerous.
