Vulpanarxth

The Vulpanarxth is an aquatic reptile like creature that live in large bodies of water and strike out of the water to grab their prey like a crocodile.

Anatomy

their sail on their back has multiple purposes: to regulate body temperature, to attract mates and to help swim in larger bodies of water and especially when it has great depth to said bodies of water.

Genetics and Reproduction

like most reptiles they lay eggs but for Vulpanarxth they lay only around four eggs and incubate them for a half of an Angellonian year.

it does not reach adulthood until after four years.

Ecology and Habitats

they prefer to live in humid or aquatic areas where there is freshwater.

Dietary Needs and Habits

they are carnivorous, mainly eating fish and smaller prey.

Vulpanarxth can be around others of their kind but usually live alone or with their mates. males usually have a harem of females for life and the most females one male had was around forty different females.

they do not see well out of water but can see perfectly when they are submerged. they can smell blood from a mile away and can smell the air with their tongues.

green with red body patterns but there are some that are dark blue with black body patterns.
