The Aurrstritch

it resembles a velociraptor (From Jurassic park) with an eagle like head whose beak has a hook like shape. their body is covered with small feathers but their arms have long slim feathers and their tails are covered in huge feathers. they are quite muscular with highly strong legs. they have two legs and arms, a good sized neck  which is also very strong and a very long and strong tail that can be used to hit any potential threats.

it weights around 500 lbs and are 10 ft tall and their body plus the tail would be around 30 ft long. they can live up to 40 years old in the wild and 80 years old when domesticated.

they reproduce like birds. the females after mating will carry the eggs for about week then lay a clutch (which can anywhere around 4-20 eggs) and the eggs should hatch around a few months later.

Aurrstritch chicks take around a couple months until their feathers are fully grown and then they start to get bigger and their beaks start to shape afterwards for the next 4 months. they reach adulthood when they are a year old(earth years)and start mating when they are two years old. they can live up to 40 years old (Angellonia years) in the wild and sometimes up to 80 in captivity.

before domestication they mostly lived in the plains of the lands of the south on Angellonia. they would hunt small mammals, reptiles, birds or fish. they would use the tall grass as materials for their nest with some sticks and stones. they prefer to live in warmer climates where there is plenty of shade or water to cool themselves off.

they eat small animals and if they are full with extra food leftover they store their food in a second stomach which is used as a storage for feeding young or themselves.

before the winter months start they start to shed their feathers growing thicker, stronger, sharper feathers and then once the snow covers they dig a tunnel under the ground where there is a "pocket" of space used as a nest for young. once the winter season begins to end they shed their feathers again back into their normal feathers.

They prefer to live in large packs consisting of 10-20 members and the alpha males is usually the biggest of the group. the Alpha males are the last to eat and the last to find a mate, they choose what animal(s) to hunt and what place of water to drink from and they fight rival alpha males. if two packs encounter each other the Alpha males from both packs fight to the death and if either one of the Alpha males loses the defeated pack would leave, dispersing or rarely ever the defeated pack would join the rival pack forming a much larger pack called an assembly which is extremely rare and if so the victorious Alpha male may go through a hormone change causing their beaks to grow slightly longer and their feathers to shed becoming sharper and their body to grow quite bigger.

They are domesticated by Angellonians but after making contact with alien empires they have been domesticated by other races for their speed and strength as a "pack mule".

their eggs are used as food and if an Aurrstritch is old or not able to run then they are used for meat and their feathers are then used for other uses (like a pillow or clothing).

they have a long beak with a hook like shape for holding onto prey. they have two eyes with alligator like irises and long forked tongues which is used to clean their young and themselves.

they are mainly found on the four lands and the continent of Junvrada.

they are somewhat intelligent living in large packs of around 10-20 Aurrstritches and they have a decently advanced form of communicating via calls and chirps.

they have excellent sight able to see 4 times farther than a human's eye. they can be nocturnal using night vision to see in the dark for hunting smaller animals.

they have symbiosis with only Craabatoid as the Craabatoid eat pieces of meat in the Aurrstritch's mouth to prevent any bacterial infection.
