Be not mistaken this is not a plant but rather a bug that is very closely resembling a bug to trick prey into trying to pollinate from it.

Basic Information

Anatomy

It has eight legs which it uses to plant itself into the ground or to walk around. it also has eight "feelers" which are like antennae to see around it's environment. it's mouth resembles that of a poisonous plant.

Genetics and Reproduction

They reproduce once every summer or wet season when they shoot eggs out of their body like a zit which then it will grow and after the summer or wet season ends, then it will hatch.

Growth Rate & Stages

They take about a month to fully grow and can live up to four years. they are hatchlings for about four days then become adolescent after a week, then are adults after a month. they begin to reproduce once the summer or wet season comes.

Ecology and Habitats

They live in wet/humid environments with lots of vegetation to blend in. they shoot their eggs into large bodies of water or onto the roots of trees.

Dietary Needs and Habits

they are insectivores using scents to attract prey into their mouths then they slam their jaws closed to begin using their acidic spit to disolve the prey into a goop to consume.
