Basic Information
Anatomy
They are humanoid Anklyosaurus. very bulky and thick skinned.
Genetics and Reproduction
Ankite females will carry a clutch (anywhere from 1-7) of eggs for about a couple months after mating for the sperm to fertilize the eggs. then she will lay her clutch of eggs and they will need to be incubated for around 7 months before offspring hatch.
Growth Rate & Stages
after they hatch they are called hatchlings for about a several months (basically around the same amount of time they were in the egg). they are then called offspring until they reach around 7 years old, then they are called kids until they are about 14 years old, then they are seen as semi-adults because they begin to grow more mature body functions for reproduction. by the time they reach around 21 years old is when they fully mature and they reach elder status when they are 56 years old, and they begin to die at around 70 years old.
Dietary Needs and Habits
They are herbivores but can eat fish as well.

Geographic Origin and Distribution
They historically have lived on Kurasaea on Mesozokia for eons. they prefer to live in tall grasslands or dense forests.

Naming Traditions
Ankites tend to name themselves based on a great feat they have accomplished in life and tend to name their kids based on said feat. children when grown can choose to keep their name or perform a great feat to give themselves a new name. it is traditional that males name their daughters and females name their sons.
History
Ankites have been known as great warriors, miners, blacksmiths and architects for eons. they have also been known to be very hard to kill due to their natural armor on their bodies and their clubbed tail acts as a natural mace in combat.
Interspecies Relations and Assumptions
They know that they are not the smartest beings and tend to humble themselves with this knowledge but the arrogance of some saurians have stained what would have been great friendships of the other saurian races.

70 years old, but the oldest recorded was 140 years old.

They are quite bulky and their thick hide and shell acts as very strong armor that can withstand even small ballistas (however it still hurts them; like a bullet proof vest can stop a bullet but that doesn't mean it don't hurt).
Body Tint, Colouring and Marking
They come in a good variety of colors. they however tend to be a good solid brown or light tan color and their armor tends to be a darker brown or red color. their armor will have small colored spots like a dalmation which can go from yellow, blue, green, purple, bright red, orange, pink and purple.
