In the aftermath of the great war that united all of Paradysium against the dark forces, the need for a steadfast protector became paramount. Zelroth Grimsbane, once a man consumed by ambition, had unleashed the demon lord Abraxas through a dark and forbidden spell. The result was devastation on a scale never before seen, as the demon overtook Zelroth’s body, leading The Dark Legion in a campaign to obliterate the world.
After a grueling battle, Abraxas and his legion were ultimately defeated and sealed within a mystical sword. This sword became the linchpin in the eternal struggle between good and evil, containing the potential for unimaginable destruction. To ensure that this power remained contained, The Keepers were established—a secretive order entrusted with the protection of the sword and the world itself.
