Migration of the Orcish Tribes

The great migration of the Orcish tribes, led by the formidable Bloodfang Clan, began in the shadowy depths of the Ironheart Woodlands of Cappadocia. In their prime, these forests were a haven for the orcs, their ironwood trees providing both resources and a spiritual connection to the land. The orcs lived symbiotically with their surroundings, crafting tools, weapons, and homes from the ironwood and subsisting on the plentiful game. However, this harmony was shattered as the dark influence of the Crown spread, seeping into the land itself. The trees withered, the soil grew barren, and extinction loomed over the clan. Desperate for survival, the Bloodfangs abandoned their dying homeland and set out in search of a new future. Their journey was grueling, a test of their endurance and unity. Traversing desolate plains, dense forests, and treacherous mountains, the orcs faced unrelenting hardships. Yet, their determination to find a new home drove them onward. This exodus eventually brought them to the edges of the The Ancient Reach, a land of promise and peril. Here, the orcs glimpsed the possibility of sanctuary but also the presence of other powers vying for dominance. Nomadic by nature and unyielding in their ambition, the Bloodfangs pressed further, seeking a land where they could carve their mark.   The orcs eventually discovered the rugged and unforgiving region of @Steer . Its jagged peaks, frostbitten plains, and harsh climate resonated with the orcish spirit—a land as untamed as they were. To the Bloodfang Clan, this was not a place to fear but a challenge to overcome, a wild domain waiting to be conquered. However, their arrival sparked inevitable conflict. The Dwarves of Steerbright, long-established in their mighty strongholds, saw the orcs as invaders. The orcs, driven by the desperation of their migration and a hunger to claim Steerbright as their own, launched what would become the 40-Year War.   This brutal conflict reshaped both the orcs and the land itself. The Bloodfangs fought with unrelenting ferocity, wielding their primal strength and adaptive tactics against the dwarves' formidable defenses and legendary craftsmanship. Slowly but surely, the dwarves were pushed back, their citadels falling one by one until the orcs finally claimed victory. With the fall of Dumathar, the last dwarven stronghold, the Bloodfangs established themselves as the new rulers of Steerbright, forging their legacy in blood and stone.   In their new homeland, the Bloodfangs built a society rooted in their traditions of strength, honor, and survival. The orcish settlements in Steerbright became fortresses of culture and resilience, shaped by the unforgiving environment and their hard-won conquest. The memory of the Ironheart Woodlands lingered in their minds, a reminder of their journey and the sacrifices made to reach this new land. Yet, the orcs did not integrate with the remaining inhabitants of Steerbright. Instead, they asserted their dominance, subjugating or expelling those who could not withstand their rule.
