Unlike other noble houses that gain power through trade, politics, or warfare, House Draeven’s wealth comes from the creatures they capture, breed, and sell. Rulers seek their war-beasts, nobles pay fortunes for their exotic pets, and scholars come to study their monstrous collections.

History
Founded in 1750 BGW by Kaelor Draeven, House Draeven rose to prominence by domesticating beasts once thought untamable. The first great success came when Kaelor harnessed the first battle-drakes, offering them to King Aldric of House Ashwood, forever securing Draeven’s place in noble society.
Over the centuries, the house expanded, scouring distant lands for the rarest creatures, perfecting the art of breeding superior war mounts and exotic pets. Some whisper that House Draeven’s knowledge extends beyond natural means, that they "create" as much as they breed, delving into forbidden arts to shape the beasts of their choosing.
Unlike many noble houses, House Draeven has little interest in politics, preferring to operate as merchants of living weapons, status symbols, and wonders that defy nature itself.
