Order of Listeners
Audientibus Amandi Deos, meaning Listeners of the Loving Gods in the Ancestrol Tongue, is the largest religion in The Ancestor Isles. It is a Ruxlamic religion based on the life and teachings of Athena, a half mortal and half deity called a Daemon and daughter of Adarr.
Tenets of Faith
"You will raise your young better than you were raised — and defend them. You will praise the eight true Lords and serve if called. These are the tenets sacred to our Order. Adhere to them and you may call yourself a Listener." - Daemon Phoebus
- Find honor in defense of one's family, for without one's family, one is nothing.
- Raise your children to be better than you were raised, for there is honor among a strong guiding hand.
- Contribute to the welfare of one's community and aid those in honest need.
- Praise in the name the eight true Lords of the Aether and serve if called.
- Observe the Sacred Day and bask in the fellowship of fellow Listeners.
- Do not conduct oneself as unfaithful to one's partner without consent of said partner.
- Acknowledge Adarr as King of the Aethereal Lords and hold Him in the highest of regards.

Sects
The Followers of the Good Spirits is an unofficial sect of the Order of Listeners found primarily within the Kingdom of Kasetia. It is the view that the Aethereal Lords and Archfiends are simply powerful good and evil spirits. They believe that there are no gods. They revere their ancestors and see the spirits as the original inhabitants of the mortal plane. Followers of this unofficial sect generally adhere to the Order's tenets, in one way or another. They see Daemos (demi-Gods) as a form of spiritual prophet.
