GLXY

GLXY is a recreational drug used by multiple mammalian species throughout the The Field of Stars. The drug comes as a pill in either pink, blue or purple, each pill has a slightly different effect, and are often used in slightly different situations, however, they all induce an increased amount of energy.  

There's nothing wrong with a bit of GLXY, so long as you don't take too much...

   

The pink pill

  The pink pill is often used at parties, concerts and raves, and is also known as 'Stardust'. As well as increasing the person's energy, it also is known to decrease the awareness of the background noise and events, resulting in a form of hyperfocus normally only available to certain species or certain neurotypes of other species. It can also reduce the sense of self-identity, leading to what is colloquially referred to as 'Zeddies', presumably after the extinct hive-mind species Zqedeqk.    

If you or a friend have taken stardust (GLXY) and start to feel like you're some part of a bigger whole, contact your doctor IMMEDIATELY. Do NOT make jokes about how your friend really is a big A-hole alrady.

     

The blue pill

  The blue pill is often used whilst alone, or in small groups, and is also known as 'Supernova'. With this form of GLXY often leads to an increased ability to concentrate, increased awareness of background noises, and an increased sense of self. It is also sometimes taken by workers in offices, so as to increase productivity. However, too much use of this pill can result in slurred speech, which... Is not exactly the desired effect.  

Use of GLXY is banned on these premises, as Jazeky kept slurring xer speech in front of the boss.

 

The purple pill

  The purple pill is the most common, as it is used a lot, and is also known as 'Hypergiant'. It is often used by people trying to recapture their youth, and as such it is often characterised by mood swings, playfulness, and general childlikeness. It is, however, banned in nightclubs and other... Sex promoting... premises, as along with the above affects it also increases arousal, and generally most species find the idea of sleeping with someone who is... Well, you get the point.  

One minute he was babbling about something or other like a young boy, the next thing I know, he's trying to get into my pants! Freaky.

Overdose

  If someone has too much GLXY, they can overdose. This can cause memory problems, paranoia, uncontrolled movements, sweating, increased heartbeat and temperature, and dehydration. Deaths have been caused by extreme cases of dehydration, heart problems, or raised temperature. After an overdose, most people feel tired and depressed. This can lead to people recovering from an overdose, only to take more GLXY. Often GLXY addiction starts due to an overdose when people aren't aware that they just overdosed.
