Galakorian
Galakorians are large, bipedal beings native to the planet Galakor. Galakor is known as a planet of harsh conditions. It is a rocky, continental world of extremes, with cold winters and hot, brutal summers. Galakorians were uplifted by several artifacts found on their planet, foretold by the Mizule. This boosted Galakorians hundreds of years into the future and allowed them to begin interstellar travel.

Biological Traits
Galakorians stood at typically at 6'4. They are naturally strong, and a typical Galakorian can overpower the average human. Galakorians usually weigh anywhere from 200-280 pounds, and are typically hairless, with some exceptions to facial hair. Due to the nature of their planet, Galakorians have evolved into tough, hardy beings, with a thick and leathery skin supported by strong and sturdy leg muscles. Based off of to dissections, Galakorians have two livers and two stomachs. Galakorians also live long lives, with an average lifespan of 200 years.

Courtship Ideals
Galakorians practice semi-arranged marriages. Daughters are expected to find capable males who demonstrate mastery in some field as a potential candidate, who is then presented to the father. If the father approves, a marriage can be established.
Illegitimate marriages are often punishable by involvement of the marriage and jail time for both members involved.
Culture and Cultural Heritage
The Galakorians worship an ancient text known as the Mizule. The Mizule outlines the creation of Galakor, and is full of prophecies. It was successful in prophesying the creation of the Nevanti ruling class, several disasters and wars on Galakor, most recently, many believe it to prophesied the Dynasty Wars. Its original author is unknown, and it is regarded as a book of wisdom. Many Galakorians consult it before making important decisions.
Common Customs, Traditions and Rituals
It is tradition for all Galakorians to carry a traditional belt. This belt, known as a Baratel (or Waratel if it has a military background) outlines ancestor's achievements in an array of small pictures that tell the story of generations. It is expected that one adds to their Baratel by bringing glory to their ancestors.
