Titanium Star Enterprise

"TSE offers the very best in ethical nanotechnology. We deny the very existence of Necroids, and resent any implication that we would be working towards monetizing such a theoretically and allegedly horrific technology."   ~Spokeswoman Cidney Reid

What's in a Name?

Titanium Star Enterprise's founder was a notorious eccentric. His obsession was the number 22. The reason that 22 consumed his mind is unknown, but he was one of the first to create stable Terminating Nanites, seemingly an oxymoron, by using 22 molecular-alloy parts. He established 22 factories, 22 laboratories, arranged his whole company in groups of 22, named is company after the atomic element 22, Titanium, and through the use of careful planning and Cloning technology, had 22 children. Books have been written attempting to see what he saw in the number, but so far there is only the wildest of conjectures.

Nanites

From swarmwear  to Nanofab Tubes, Titanium Star Enterprises makes nanobots, microbots, picobots, and more. They use this technology to make Bioroids, Meddick, and more. They're the big name in Nanotechnology, and their competitors fight over second place.

The Necroid Problem

TSE's made no secret of competing over Clinical Reanimation technology. What they HAVE kept a secret is how far their experiments have gone. Necroids have appeared on the scene, and unregistered Necrotubes have flooded the illegal arms trade. Some people whisper that this is a power play by TSE, while others insist that it must be simple (and illegal) field testing. TSE denies the allegations of their involvement, but very few people actually believe them.
