Starfighter
A starfighter is a highly maneuverable, decade-scale spacecraft designed for space-to-space combat, reconnaissance, and escort duties. Their primary purpose is to establish air superiority by engaging and destroying enemy fighters, thereby controlling the space battlefield. Additionally, starfighters are used for space intercept, reconnaissance, and escort missions, protecting larger capital ships, convoys, or high-value assets from enemy attack. They also provide close air support for ground operations, targeting enemy installations and forces.
