The expansionist Esonar Confederacy attempts to conquer Aethis. An external threat forces them to withdraw before they can succeed.

The Esonar Confederacy, as part of a large campaign to conquer and integrate more planets for various purposes, mounted several attacks on the Elii system and Aethis. The formidable defense raised by the coordinated Aethi nations under provisional leader Athad Irias'keior slowed the Esonar, but ultimately the Confederacy was forced to withdraw their forces due to the emergence of a major threat to their existing interstellar state.   These events led to the unification of Aethis by Irias'keior, who became the first Arana - effectively, Emperor - of Aethis.
