Head Master of G.O.R.M.

The Head Master of G.O.R.M. is a very prestigious title. As G.O.R.M. tracks the magic users, the Head Master has the final say in the matters related to the laws regarding magics. The Head Master is a law maker first and foremost, making laws for members of G.O.R.M. to enforce and other licensed magic users to follow. The Head Master also makes decrees that other G.O.R.M. members and magic users follows. These decrees include, but are not limited to, what types of magic are barred from use, what spells are barred from use, what magical licenses can be purchased, what institutions that teach magic will be given grants, and what institutions that teach magic will be fined (mostly for not meeting G.O.R.M.'s standards).   In some cases, the Head Master also gives out grants to institutions that teach magic. This is not always the case, as G.O.R.M. has other grant givers in their midst. However, the most prestigious grants that give out the most gold come from the Head Master. One particular grant that the Head Master gives out is titled "The Blessings of G.O.R.M". This grant is given to a non set number of students or magic practitioners. This grant is to promote the magic practitioners experiments which frequently benefit the Grimm Empire.   The title of Head Master is currently held by Mistress Avantika Burns. Avantika Burns is a very powerful fire mage that some say that she is blessed by a phoenix. She keeps a number of birds in her company at all times, from exotic and beautiful birds to the common pigeon. Birds flock to her and tell her many secrets. No one knows her exact age besides her. She is also one of Malgrous Grimm's (the current Grimm Emperor) most trusted advisers.
