The First Act: The Show must go on Dah'ling!

A colossal, kaiju-sized sky Jellyfloat, Lindy, drifts across the endless skies, glowing with an ethereal bioluminescence, home to a travelling circus named The Lolloping Liminoon, that offers both dazzling performances and shadowy services. Its enigmatic leader and Ringmaster is a charming Beholder named Vraxilo the All-Seeing, who accepts morally ambiguous contracts on the side. The PCs are fresh recruits to the circus, tasked with balancing their circus with dangerous side jobs.

Struggling to get the Circus to break even, The Ringmaster Vraxilo has brought the circus to Mollouscopollis Prime in the hopes of earning a name, and some coin, for itself. With The Lolloping Liminoon moored up on The Hummingbird Gate plaza, Vraxilo has sent forth his newest recruits to the circus out to drum up some business, before performing the first show.

The recruits made their way to the central hub, meeting a few of the locals on the way, some friendly, others less so. A gang of Kenku's learnt quickly that the recruits were green, but certainly not timid, with all but one being but down in a matter of moments. Meanwhile the local urchins have taken a shine to the group as well as the local inhabitants of the main tavern, The Broken Drum. On their way back the party stopped off for some food, and witnessed the Head Concho handing out food and chocolate on one of his latest outreach programs, but they were suspicious of his intentions, especially after performing a purify food spell and witnessing spores emerge.

After the recruits returned from their successful ventures, Vraxilo got distracted, and someone was able to make off with the "Star of the Abyss", a lamp used by Vraxilo to guide Lindy across the skies from settlement to settlement, plying their trade.
In a panic, he sent out some of his squad to go and find the culprits, leaving his show short staffed. Calling on his new recruits to pull on their skills and experience, the first show was a success, and for the first time in a long time the circus coffers were occupied by more than cobwebs and moths.
