- 10.25/0645: Hover-van from Remuda Livery arrives at 0645; Cooper & Carver travel with Grav Boot to the Remuda Livery, where they complete business arrangements with Ulysses Roanhorse, and encounter Sarafina Mbitsini. Mbitsini chats them up, then tells them the Jin Dui has been recommended to her by a dear friend for a special job… she explains Liu Meiying’s situation, and proposes that the ship & crew come have dinner at the Now Want Want that evening to meet him and see if they would like to take him on as a long-term passenger.
- 0800am / 0900 - ish Tor heads out to attend to personal business; Chang heads out to attend to personal business. Cianan begins his own tour of the dockside, and is discouraged by what he sees. -- It will become very evident early in the day that there’s a contingent of Third Eyes lurking in a teahouse across the way from the Jin Dui. Crew who depart the ship on business are followed by pairs of Third Eyes. They make little effort to hide themselves and refuse to speak if confronted… they are just lurking and following.
- 10.25/0930: Sully drops in on an old contact, Gobi Peshwar, and along with trading gossip and picking up some goods for the hydroponics project, he gets a recommendation for a hire-on for planned upcoming EVA work (Tom Beartooth)
- 10.25/11:00 -- refueling tanker due, Carver & the Captain return shortly before
- 10.25/12:00 -- meeting w/Tom Beartooth, Cooper offers him a trial position as a hire-on
- LUNCHTIME: … Cianan is moping after his first ½ day search for job & housing, asks about the possibility of staying on board to Greenleaf or even the next board beyond. Rest of the crew sits down to eat; meets Jessa & Tom; are told there’s a mandatory dinner event everyone must attend. Fatima to get measurements for those who need dinnerwear.
- 10.25/13:00 -- Cooper, Abby, Fatima, Tom & Jessa go to the retailer Itaewon Aunties to get supplies, personal kits for the new crew, and dinnerware for the crew who need it. Hoss, Sully, Chang? & Tor
- 10.25/15:00 to 16:00 -- regular cargo of copper ore being collected
- 10.25/1900: Dinner at the Now Want Want scheduled for 7 pm; crew meet Liu & Sarafina, late in the meal Anson Roanhorse shows up to get reacquainted with Cooper (which goes over like a load of bricks with Hoss & Carver) & insists on drinks with him after dinner.
- 10.25/2200-ish: Crew return to the ship, except for Cooper & Hoss; Cooper goes to meet Anson for drinks, with Hoss sitting at the nearby bar glowering. Carver returns mid-way through, joining Hoss for the glowering. Anson provides some valuable information, makes a pitch for himself as a future pilot if the ship ever is looking again.
