After a week of negotiations, a peace agreement is reached, with the Independents surrendering to Alliance forces.       All of the settled worlds are united as a result of the peace agreement and the Anglo-Sino Alliance, which had originally formed on Earth-That-Was, comes to be formally known as the Union of Allied Planets. It is considered by some to be the dawn of a new galaxy.
