Moonstone

Moonstones are iridescent stones which convert any light source into "moonlight" (or at least a comparable substitute, for magical purposes) when that light is reflected off their surface. Moonstone reflectors are a critical component of light rifles.   Consecrated Moonstones are moonstones which have been anointed by the Moon Prophet with sacrificial blood. They lose their ability to convert light, and instead convert heat energy into magical energy. As a result, weapons crafted from consecrated moonstone deal frost damage.
