Accursed Archive
A cursed library full of knowledge that was sealed away by the gods themselves, but has found ways to let curious minds enter, many of whom make pacts with the archive. It is full of tomes of curses, demons, dark magic, and dangerous histories.

- The Little Pretender - this nondescript story never mentions the name Cyric, as doing so would alert the god to its existence. Instead, it tells the story of a boy who was a great pretender and liar, cunningly using enough of the truth to mask his own lies - pretending to be his brothers, retelling stories, casting himself in a better light, impersonation and condemning others as himself and all the connotations with that name. As he grows the offenses become more and more serious. Someone deep in study of the gods and with some knowledge of the truth in the Scripts of Deneir, will be able to piece together that the Liar, Cyric, is a pivotal player in the dark ages to come.

Dangers
The more time spent in the cursed library the greater the chances for harm. Aldred has become so exposed to the library that ink stains permanently blot his skin, and some of it is starting to look almost like text, but is just illegible. This was the influence of Carasphyx within that domain exerting his will onto Aldred. With Carasphyx defeated, the harm will not get worse - if he should return though, Aldred does not have long until he is totally under the influence of Carasphyx.Remove these ads.
