Grand Legion of Biodoma

The Biodoman Legion active manpower is around 5.5 million be broken down into 5 different Exercitus with a finial 3 being a reverse Exercitus, bringing the total estimated manpower to 9.5 million. Each Exercitus can have a max of 1 million legionnaires but be no less than 500,000 legionnaires. Corpus has around 50,000 to 300,000 legionnares, Divisio has around 7,000 to 22,000 legionnaires, Legio has around 2,000 to 8,000 legionnares, Cohors has around 400 to 1200 legionnaires, Centuria has around 100 to 250 legionnaires, Manipulus has around 20 to 50 legionnaires, Contubernium has around 7 to 15 legionnaires and Quarterion being your standard fireteam with 4 legionnaires.   With an Army so vast as the Biodoman Legion there are expectations to these rules, LEGIO X the Emperors Own Praetorian Guard is one of these expections having 10,000 Legionnaires despite only being a single legion. this is why the Praetorian Guard can also sometimes be referred to as the "Valiant 10,000."

All Legionnaires are issued a shield, sword, rifle and pistol, Legionnaires can choose to buy additional equipment such as small knives and other items to enhance combat prowess.   The shield that is issued to Legionnaires is called a Scutumn, this piece of equipment has changed a lot other the years to better fit the changing times of the world, being made of Gerth metal to help protect against small arms fire. The Scutumn could be used in many ways and can be paired with all standard issue weapons within the Legions arsenal, it is mostly used in defensive situations as the Scutumn provides great cover for the Legionnaire.   The sword that is issued to Legionnaires is called a Gladius, it has roughly remained the same since the Age of Darkness although many variations of this sword has made its way around the Legion, most Legionnaires would always revert back to the original.   The rifle issued to Legionnaires is the called the M5 Camillo, being made during the Reiberg-Biodoman war within the first year of the Age of Conquest, it is one of the better made and advance rifles out there.   The pistol issued to Legionnaires is called the M5 Cappa, being made towards the end of the Age of Invention.

Exercitus takes 2 to 5 Corpus, Corpus takes 2 to 7 Divisio, Divisio takes 2 to 3 Legio, Legio takes 3 Cohors, Cohors takes 2 to 5 Centuria, Centuria takes 2 to 4 Manipulus, Manipulus takes 3 to 4 Contubernium and Contubernium takes 2 to 4 Quarterion.   Each active Exercitus is home to two provinces with big bases within the provinces being home to an Corpus, Divisio and Legio can control smaller bases based on the needs of the Legion. The three reseserve Exercitus is divided into thirds with 8th Exercitus having an extra Province The Biodoman Legion Headquarters is within Castra Ventor located right outside the outskirts of Doma on the Province of Perposa. 1st Exercitus also has there headquarters in Fort Ventor as they were given Perposa and Tartiana to place there assets in. 2nd Exercitus is home to Dalia and Calix being HQ'd at Castra Leon located in Calix, 3rd Exercitus is home to Nebel and Lugis, being HQ'd at Castra Santori located in Lugis, 4th Exercitus is home to Macitus and Podonia, being HQ'd at Castra Petrus located in Macitus, with finially 5th Exercitus being home to Darcia and Nordia, being HQ'd at Castra Cosmo located in Darcia.   1st Exercitus deployed along the Hithel Offensive Line led by Dux Exercitus   Praetorian Guard Vulpes Auxierally   The rank structure of the Legion is divided by two systems, one system for enlisted and one system for officers. Enlisted ranks include Miles, Immunis, Principalis, Decanus, Triarchus, Tresserarius and Trecenarius. Officer ranks include Signifer, Optio, Centurion, Primus Pilus, Tribunus, Legatus, Dux Legionis, Dux Divisionis, Dux Exercitus and finially Dux Magnus.

Basic Tiro Military Training is 10 weeks long and every citizen is required to attend the training at the age of 16. The training includes basic sword, shield and rifle drill, swim qualifications, rifle qualifications, sword and shield qualifications, hand to hand qualifications, basic field training, very basic medical training and basic engineering fundamentals. Last week of training takes everything you learn into a three-day event with little sleep hiking around to event to event. Those who get drop from training or not graduate stay in Basic Tiro Military Training until they complete all basic qualifications. After graduation those who are not designated or volunteer to say in the Legion may return back into society and continue their higher education.   After Basic Tiro Military Training, Legionnaires will go to their respective follow-on military schools to learn how to do their job. Training may vary from school to school based on the Legionnaires chosen occupation that they choose to do for the Legion. Even in the Legion proper training is continuousness, one Legionnaire would have to once again prove themselves once they get into their first unit. More experienced Legionnaires have to keep up with annual requirements to make sure that they are always ready for the next battle or fight.   By the time Legionnaires are 18 they may be able to deploy out into the field and must attend Legionnaire Advance Combat Training. This training is 1 month long and is required for all Legionnaires no matter what their occupation is.

Every family in Biodoma must have at least one family member within the Legion, all citizens at the age of 16 must attend Basic Tiro Military Training. There are no exceptions or waivers on who is selected on going through this training process, citizens will stay in training until all events are completed or they will get imprisoned.
