Festival of Valor

The Festival of Valor was first hosted by Emperor Malcon during the Age of Creation to celebrate Biodoman culture and history. Back during the Age of Creation and Age of Antiquity days the current emperor would host a big feast in Doma for the citizens of the empire, old Legio Leaders would come to discuss the history of forgotten battles and the past glories of the empire. During the Age of Darkness the Festival of Valor would turn more into a general remembrance for what the Biodoman Empire used to be like during its glory days and the emperor throughout that age wouldn't hold large feast anymore due to food shortages. It was not until the Age of Discovery where Emperor Fronto declared that the Festival of Valor shall also be a national holiday called Valor Day to be celebrated across the empire. Emperor Fronto also began to host feasts again calling it the Grand Feast of Valor. During the Age of Inventions many different provinces would celebrate Valor Day a bit differently in accordance to their history, extended families would gather together to honor past reletives that have served in the Legion or the Government.

Throughout all the provinces in Biodoma, the Biodoman Legion would all march around the streets in various of traditional uniforms across all the Ages usually in the morning of Valor Day. In Doma specifically Legio X would dress up in traditional Biodoman Praetorian uniforms from with ceremonial swords and shields. After the grand march the senior leadership of the Legion would address the public with a grand speech talking about Biodoman history and the exploits of the empire. During the night fireworks would be set off to celebrate Biodomans rich history.

Biodoman flags and provincals flags are typically waved around during most Legions Parades and most citizens would stock up on fireworks for the night.

All citizens can attend the Festival of Valor and celebrate Valor Day no matter what the status of that citizen is.

Nobody exatly knows what date the first ever Festival of Valor took place, but today the festival is celebrated on Malcon 1st in Doma with Valor Day also being celebrated nation wide throughout the country of Biodoma.
