Enetoi Livre

The Livre is the official currency of the Theorepublic of Enetoi and the primary unit of exchange in international trade worldwide. It has a value of 5 grams of pure gold. The Livre is the only purely representational currency (i.e. having no precious metal in its circulatory form) in the world. One Livre is divided into 100 Cents, or 1000 Mille. The largest denomination of bills is 500 Livre, and the smallest coin is 5 Mille.   A loaf of bread in Enetoi costs approximately 6 Cents, or 60 Mille. The average daily wages for a laborer is 30 Cents. Both notes and coins are produced by the Theocratic Bank, with Livre coins produced from actual gold and Cents and Mille minted from nickel and brass respectively. Banknotes are produced only according to the actual bullion reserves of the Bank.
