Snowskitter

Snowskitters are large, centipede-like creatures found in many snow-covered regions in Tesia. They measure about six feet in length once fully grown.

They are known to hunt in packs of about four to seven members, relying on ambushing and surrounding large prey. A burrowing species, snowskitters spend most of their time digging beneath thick snow or carving holes into ice. Typically, they are only seen when attacking.

Being pack hunters, it is recommended to travel in groups to avoid snowskitter attacks, as they are easily dissuaded from hunting when they cannot sufficiently outnumber their prey. Additonally, they are frightened easily by aerial predators, so calls made to mimic such creatures can prevent even a lone traveler from becoming skitter food.
