Snowpainter
The Kroverannt, commonly called a Snowpainter, is a monstrous species native to Northfeir. They appear to be deathly pale figures, gaunt and hunched, walking on their hands and feet, like spindly gorillas.
Each kroverannt wields a long blade that it keeps impaled through itself until it decides to use it. The blades of these monsters appear to be made of their own bone mass, grown with them from birth.
A cut from a kroverannt blade will never cease its bleeding until the victim dies. All attempts to staunch it will merely delay death. Only powerful regenerative magic is known to heal such a wound.
