Roc Shrike
An enormous bird of prey, standing taller than any humanoid, roc shrikes are terrifying beasts. Known to hunt any large prey, including humanoids, their behavior matches that of smaller shrike species quite well. They are solitary birds, only joining others briefly to mate. Their territories are unmistakable, littered with the corpses of prey skewered on branches, pikes, and anything else nearby and pointy.
Roc shrikes tend to live in hotter climates, hibernating during winter months and peaking in activity in the summer.
