Ravenhall
Ravenhall is the common name given to the space connecting Nachratha to all other planes. It creates a single entrypoint for all souls entering the underworld, ensuring none may pass unseen either to or from the Adder's realm.
The Raven watches over this space, triaging the recently deceased before beckoning them on to her brother in the doors beyond.
The appearance of Ravenhall widely varies. Many who are near death have glimpsed this space, envisioning it as any number of different places, all unique to the individual. But very few left alive have seen it as it truly is. It appears as a dark, impossibly long stone hallway, lit by the flickering blue flames of torches. The ceiling stretches upward into darkness, where some have said they see stars that do not exist. At the end of the hall sits The Raven at an ornate desk, her dark visage looming before many doors. It is believed that this form of Ravenhall is what the dying see once they finally cross over into death.
