Nottrgan
A horrific, ethereal beast that stalks the woods of Northfeir. These creatures often appear to be no more than black wisps in the night, taking vaguely humanoid forms to stalk prey.
It is frequently said of them that Nottrgans see light in inverse. Darkness appears to them as daylight, and any luminance is a black void. Because of this, they hunt only in the darkest times of night, becoming more numerous as the moon wanes. They are known to stalk campsites due to campfires creating a threatening blindspot in their habitats.
