Felworm

Felworms are highly feared giant worms native to Northfeir. Their cousin species, the Wellworm, is an adaptation common to other regions in Tesia. Felworms are enormous, actively hunting worms whose presence is announced as a rapid rumble. They cannot be outrun. Many travelers have taken to wearing rags soaked in troll sweat, as felworms find regenerating trolls an intensely annoying meal and avoid their scent. The body of a mature felworm is about 10 feet in diameter, one hundred feet long, and completely black. Their snouts close into a sharp point, wrapped with bony ridges like a natural drill. When hunting, they burst from the ground a short distance from their prey, opening their mouths as they descend upon it. After engulfing the unfortunate creature, they violently undulate their bodies to grind the victim to a pulp with innumerable internal spines.
