Elf

Elves embody the union between god and fey. Created as part of a pact between the rulers of The Feywild and the goddess Delila, elves are inherently tied to the natural world, especially the sea.   The typical elf is tall and lithe. Elven skin tones tend toward light, though darker skinned elf lineages also exist. Their hair usually grows long, with many elf cultures inventing elaborate hair styles. Facial hair is uncommon among elves, however, and usually signifies some secondary ancestry.   Many Elven cultures prefer to live within nature, and guide it into shapes they find useful. It is common to find Elven towns and cities built from trees manipulated to form buildings. This is a direct result of their general deficit of musculature, and general surplus of magical talent.   Elves tend to avoid intermarrying with other humanoid species, though it does still happen. Offspring of such unions are often either reviled or exalted, with the response varying wildly between specific cultures.   Forever tied to the waters of Tesia, many elves feel drawn to the sea since birth. Such elves usually become seafarers, and are largely responsible for the growing interconnection of continents.
