Magical Capacitance
Magical Capacitance refers to the property of different types of crystals and similar substances to absorb and emit different capacities and rates of magical energy. This property can vary widely with the types of stones used, the cuts and sizes of those stones, and the application of external embellishments or devices used to absorb or harness this energy.
Manifestation
A crystal containing magical energy may glow or emanate some perceptible sensation, for example being hot or cold to the touch. When viewed under magical detection, charged crystals give off a general, unfocused magical aura. If hooked up to a device, that device may change the aura depending on how it converts the magical energy for some purpose.
