Barros Silverspring (a.k.a. Barry, Bear-Bear)
Bio
While he may appear as a young male dwarf, Barros is actually a sentient butt.
Appearance
Clean-shaven on the bottom and a party up top, Barros goes out of his way to groom himself differently from other dwarves. Half college-aged rebellion, half insecurity about not being able to grow a thick enough beard
Personality
Barros is a friendly enough chap, but he's always looking for a deal. Raised in a family of successful merchants and traders, Barros has brought the business language he grew up hearing as a kid to RUGL with him, without any of the business sense. Although Barros can go a bit too far in trying to squeeze an extra copper or two out of his clients, he's not particularly interested in spending the money on goods or luxuries. As a young dwarf, Barros is can be unnecessarily rebellious at times, but his heart is in the right place.
Barros is not a huge fan of magic or magic-users.
Background
Barros grew up in a wealthy dwarven family of merchants in Lochenfall, in the north of Pyrhia. The Silverspring clan was originally known for (and named after) their industrious refining of the rich silver deposits that lie deep within the northwestern mountain ranges. Barros's great-grandfather, Isambard Barros Silverspring, was the one who transformed his sleepy clan of miners into a large conglomerate with varied interests, including a chain of high-end clothing stores ("Roland's Raiments"), a couple wineries in the East Pyrhian River valley, an assortment of inns and pubs, two different coopers in Farloche, and a controlling stake in the largest goat farm in Gelbes Feld.
Home Town
Barros is from Lochenfall originally, although he spent the majority of his youth on the family's compound outside of the city. His favorite family home is the lake house on Hoof Lake, which Barros has not been invited back to since "accidentally" breaking a few doors after an enthusiastic night of playing cards last year.
