Lycanthropy

After being bit there is two to ten days of fever, night sweats, and nightmares of creatures torn apart by a beast. Unless there is a Full Moon which then accelerates the symptoms to the final stage. The second stage is that the subject is ravenously hungry mostly during the night. Final stage comes upon the full moon, but depending on which moon is full there is different effects, if it is Somal they transform into their were form. If it is Gozral they transform into their full form. After that they can transform a couple times daily once they get stronger they can transform for longer and more times a day. They have to go through both transformation cycles to be able to transform at will. During Moon transformations the creature is not in control of their form.

It can effect any living being.

The only known way to not get Lycanthropy is to not be bite.

The disease is spread by bite and can also be passed down from the parents.

Lycanthropy was originally a curse upon those who took from the lands to greedily. It has sense spread to even the protecters of the lands.

They are seen as beast with no intelligence while they are turned.
