Within the family there are three lines of inheritance.
The head of the Tomohiro family is typically the eldest child of the previous head.
There is a power passed down through the family, with the inheritor of each generation designated by a vitruvian raven birthmark on their nape.
This designates the aasimar blood.
The third is responsibility for the trapped demon. Whenever the old bearer “retires” the demon is passed on to a new bearer.
If the eldest child possesses the birthmark, then they are passed over as head of the family as one person must not hold both positions.
