Valonus Bridge

Valonus Bridge is a retractable stone bridge connected between Valone and The Quarry of Sarton, helping workers come across the Dirwen River much more easily. Every morning, about two or three hundreds come across the bridge to working at the quarry, as well as the evening to going back home.

Architecture

The bridge is an arch bridge spanning across the Driwen river, built with narrow piers made of granites, and a bigger one placed on the delta in the middle of the river. It has two wooden bascules between the delta, which can be locked to block the water trade route. It gives the opportunity of water traffic controlling in which the empire have profited it for centuries.

The Wall of Sarton divided the city into 2 sectors. The Inner sector, consisting of 11 districts, is full of peoples, covering the entireilty of the inner wall.

The Outer sector, on the other hand, is full of fields and operating water system, which covered from the inner wall up to the main wall.
