Gunner Legion
Gunner Legion is the armed force developed by Valonia Empire(previously the kingdom). It's considered to be the first army ever to use firearm as a primary weapon, making them outstanding from any force in the region.
Composition
Manpower
Typically, an army of Gunner Legion has a minimum of 4,000 manpower.
Type of Unit
Gunner Legion has two main units: The Gunner and the Protector.
The Gunner is a common type and has the main force in the battlefield. On the other hand, The protector is the supporter for the gunner, who has a special shield that is able to protect both themselves or the gunner. Both units technically work in pairs to protect each other. One of the tactics for them is that a gunner stands shooting behind the shield from the protector.
Weaponry & Equipments
Beside old-fashion gladius and dagger, a gunner must carry one long musket. A musket come with leather belt containing of 20 lead balls, and a canteen full of condensed crystal powder.
The scutum goes to the protector, who has no main musket but Instead carry a pistol.
Despite different loadout, all the soldier are wearing the same uniform: the metal-straps armor, metal helmet, and a backpack.
Structure
Commanded by Catasturion, the high general, an army of Gunner Legion is consisting of 4-5 battalions, with 10 companies each.
Each province support 1-2 armies depending on province size and capability. Some significant province with important cities may be able to hold 3 armies, like Kriton and Valone.
Nevertheless, all army are ultimately commanded by the one and only Emperor - via their Catasurions.
Training
Basically, a soilder has to be train how to handling, aimming, reloading, and quick switching to melee.

Logistical Support
Since the crystal is the main factor of their weapons, it always be prioritized next to foods. But there are a few major problems: the crystal only comes from the secret farm which is not allowed to plant it outside.
Even if they want so, they couldn't.
As such, whenever the army is going to fight far away from their land, they would bring it enough during the preparation, if they need resupplying, it should be delivered as quickly as possible by horses or cars.

When the first gun was invented and first pack of musket manufactured, men who didn't involved in such thing were trained using it even they didn't realized its true power yet. As it had to be quick to maneuver, the early formation pretty looked like archers line./*
Until 15 BVE, the power was revealed while confronting the guard on their plan to reclaim the city on 15 BVE. Although it's just an musket and pistol with basic protection, the result was incredible.

By Intregating into the existing traditional army, they fought in the War of the Sacked, and back with triumph. Since then, the fomation had become the standard for the Valonian army.
