Eurmyerian Peerage

The nation of Euremyer is governed by one of the oldest noble aristocracies in the civilized world, and is rooted in a system of patronage and vassalage that began long before the fall of the empire. Long before the fall of the last emperor, the exarchs of Turath governered their respective territories of Kreata with significant autonomy, and while their appointments were at the behest of Regnum, much of the traditions they began still remain in Euremyer today.
As such, "Pride" of Euremyer's nobles is almost without equal. For the nobles of the Court of Seasons, the honor and legacy of their heritage is beyond question, and is to be defended at all cost. Many still hold to the ideals of noblise obligee in spirit, if not in practice. Despite the rise of the burgeoning merchant and professional classes, many of Euremyer's nobles are actively engaged re-imagining their role in the greater governance of the realm.

Court of Seasons

Euremyer is currently divided into five dukedoms, the last of which serves as the royal demse of King Lycian Anthis. The remaining four cover the regional territories. Under the treaty of Haspel, much of the Euremyerian aristorcracy was reorgainzed several civil wars, in order to solidify the nations territory and allegiences. The treaty outlined the need for a greater centralization in order to protect the integrety of Euremyer's domain. As such, the Dukes of Euremyer were given significantly more autonomy, and many of the regional nobles were repleged to the dukes, who in turn swore fealty to the Archduke and the seat in Camanant.
