Terra Mundus Cuisine
Human
Mixed vegetables including tomatoes, carrots and onions, as well as a heavily oceanic diet of fish and seaweed. The food is often mildly spiced with peppers and tree barks. The food is also salted due to the abundance of sea salt. Stews are common, often made with coconut milk.
Dwarvish
Due to the fact there is little arrable land in Greenalnd, the dwarves maked do with a mostly meat diet. They breed Green Deer and Giant Rats in their caves for food. The food they supply them with is also eaten by the dwarves, which is mushrooms, moss and lychen. Vegetables are available from Hamnstad farms, but they can be expensive. There is little seasoning as there are no salt and no plants for spices.
Elvish (General)
Elves like leafy greens and complex dishes, salted with herbs
High Elvish
Tristique is a treasure trove of naturally growing edible plants. Leaves, vegetables and truffles grow in abundance here and make up much of the diet. Although not often eaten, the elves do eat meat. This mostly consists of fowl, though fish and deer are also common on Tristique. Nuts and berries are also often eated.
Sea Elvish
While similar to the standard elven diet, Sea Elves eat a much more abundant array of fish, more heavily salted, and often paired with more tropical fruits. The food is fairly spiced with peppers and tree barks. They often import nuts from the High Elves.
Blood Elvish
With little able to grow in Carrion, blood elves focus on a meat based diet. Food scraps are often fed to Carrion Deer that are farmed, and as well as this they often hunt Carrion Crawlers and other Carrion predators. They import food when they can, few fish live in the seas off the coast. To add flavor, and preserve food, most are boiled slowly in blood stews with deep earthy spices imported from Harren Harbor.
Ashen Elvish
The Ashen Elf diet is similar to that of the dwarves, but with a more heavily salted taste. In addition to this they often import much from Hanner Harbor.
Lizardfolk
The Lizardfolk diet is heavily based on waht they saw the sea elves eat, however without proper preservation through magical means they prefer to more heavily salt their food. They also find spices hard to find, but adore spicy food and use it when they can heavily. A unique set of Lizardfolk foods include the Bongou Fish, which is only palattable to Lizardfolk; as well as the Pinez spice, a bug crushed up into a dry powder. Both are hated by other races, especially the Bongou fish, that is commonly spread on bread.
Tabaxi
The food of the Tabaxi is only meat. They hunt it in the whild still and eat it raw and unprocessed.
