Transmission & Vectors
Through sex with an elf. When you have intercourse with an elf, you must make a Charisma saving throw based on which race you sleep with. On a failure, you are enthralled with your partner and contract the Cariadwaith, but cannot transmit it to others.

Symptoms
You are left with a need for your partner. An unending need to spend time with them. If you are separated from your partner for over 24 hours you take 1d12 psychic damage for every day you have been apart. After 7 days, you suffer disadvantage on all rolls.
Treatment
You can break the Cariadwaith, you must succeed a DC25 Charisma saving throw. On a failure, you do not break the Cariadwaith and your intelligence, wisdom and charisma are all reduced by 1 permanently.
Affected Groups
All elves are born with it, others contract it.
