Ventali Empire Social Ranks

There are senior six Star Empresses whose names and social rankings are known because they appear in all the holy scrolls. There are also a legendary set of ten more Star Empresses that are referenced in general terms but their names and rankings are unknown. It is agreed the lost ten gave their lives to save the world.   The Ventali imperial ranks are based on the well known and proven social rankings of the prior Duianna Empire’s social structure. A number of rankings were interpreted for the lower levels of society based on traditions and legendary histories.   The legendary homeworld of origin is known as Terra or Earth and is documented in recovered histories. The social ranks from history were:
  1. The lost gods
  2. Emperor/Empresses, King/Queen, Grand Duke/Duchess
  3. Prince/Princess
  4. Duke/Duchess
  5. Marquis/Marquess
  6. Earl/Count/Countess (A Count is a foreign word for an Earl, and both their wives are Countesses)
  7. Baron/Baroness
  8. Knight/Lord/Lady
Each rank had different robes and coronets.   In Ventali the social ranks are:
  1. Star Empress Gwenna Duianna the Grand Matriarch (goddess of mothers, families, justice, and leadership)
  2. Star Empress Liath Brenull the Grand Advisor (goddess of strength, wisdom, and medicine)
  3. Star Empress Eveka Krenal the Grand Viser (goddess of commerce and labor)
  4. Star Empress Vaneesh Junnae the Grand Architect (goddess of smiths and builders)
  5. Star Empress Nothiam Bree the Grand Captain (goddess of travelers, trade women, seas, roads, and markets)
  6. Star Empress Minooia Oolikn the Grand Teacher (goddess of the sciences, learning, histories, and records)
  7. The ten lost Star Empresses
  8. Ventali Empress ( golden sash with the ten golden privileges)
  9. Ventali Scion (firstborn daughter of the Empress, gold & red striped sash with the ten red privileges)
  10. Five Duchy Houses ( red & gold trimmed sash with the ten red privileges)
  11. Ten Marchy Houses ( silver & gold trimmed sash with the nine silver privileges)
  12. Twenty-four County Houses ( bronze & silver trimmed sash with the six bronze privileges)
  13. Forty-three Barony Houses ( blue & silver trimmed sash with the six blue privileges)
  14. Forty-nine Peer Houses ( purple & silver trimmed sash with the four purple privileges)
  15. The Church
  16. Trade Houses
  17. Military
  18. Labor Houses
  19. Craft Communes
  20. Individual Homes
Being of a higher rank does not imply control over lower social ranked individuals or groups. For example, the military answers only to the Royal House and Duchies.
