The Restorationist League
Common Knowledge:
The Restorationists are an independent society that has flourished in the cluster. They are a major part of the Sleastatt Alliance. They believe that the Star League has become weak and ineffective. They violently oppose the Star League wherever they can, they are considered a terrorist organisation by the Navy and the Assembly. The Restorationists are led by a Seleene known as “The White” because of her unusual albino colouring. The Restorationists follow a martial order that rejects all external authority and views most other organisations suspiciously. They are considered ‘extremists’ by many in the Cluster. The Syndicate and the Corsairs refuse to deal with them.Insider Knowledge:
The Restorationists are not, in fact, led by an albino Seleene. This is (one of many) fronts created by the Exploritorum Prima to recruit and test individuals that may be of benefit to the Sleastatt Dynasty. Those that prove loyal and useful are inducted into the truth about the Alliance. The front of using a Seleene is part of the cover, encouraging people that like aliens too much to join, where they can be rehabilitated and, if necessary, eliminated. Aliens that join the Restorationists are used appropriately - typically on dangerous missions where the risk of death is high.
