Nation of Siren’s Deep
This is an ancient city but has since been submerged completely underwater. The main settlement lies along the side of an underwater trench. The overall infrastructure is similar to Zion where the underground valley is filled with civilization. The trains doesn’t not run this far into the sea. The typical trains that travel between the nations and territories only run until Tianne, the closest port and land mass to Siren’s Deep. All travel beyond Tianne are done by an underwater seabus carriers.
There are two Ranger Outposts that dwells in this nation, Outpost Tiamat and Outpost Carcosa. Outpost Tiamat is located in an old decomissioned oil rig at the ocean’s surface. While outpost Carcosa, is a decommisioned series of sunken submarines, repurposed into an Ranger Outpost at the bottom of the sea.
It is also worth noting that at the centre of the valley that forms the outter edge of Siren’s Deep is a large statue carved onto the side of the trench of a female bodhisattva-like deity . This human deity shown by the statue contains six arms and four eyes and is polycerate (mountain sheep + Pyrenean goat-like horns). If examined closely, the back of the head of this statue is also shown to be an otherwise human face, with a long extended tongue stuck out.
Besides this main statue, on either side, there are two additional smaller statues (four in total). However, these smaller statues are more so positioned like Greek statue columns. These four statues (one male and three females) appear more human-like, except with the addition of again horns on their heads (markhor, water buffalo, blackbuck, Nubaina ibex). Ancient stories tell the tale of five demons who apparently discovered the error of their ways and thrived to achieve Buddhahood. Deepwithin Siren’s Deep, at the central hub of the Nation is an inactive geyser, which serves as an atrium for the Nation with the roof completely covered with a glass dome. Within the atrium is an artifically created island with a palm jungle. The plants with the energy directed from other active geysers surrounding the nation, it creates a tropical climate for cilvilization. Thus despite the nation being completely underground, the overall appeal of the Nation is very picturesque.
