Meridian Capital Nation

Resembling mostly Niagara Falls, Meridian is the convergence of all the Nations and Outlander Kingdoms, serving as the capital of all human civilization of the current world and the main trading hub between the Outlanders Territories/Colonies (Peoples' Commune of Outlanders (PCO)) and Inlander Nations (Meridian United Inlander Nations (MUIN)). 
  The centre waterfall, which is the hallmark of Meridian, is created over two giant stone statues, that are carved fjords facing outwards. At the base of the statues they stand over a large lake formation, Desolation Sound. The waterfall, Desolation Falls, is forms by the two statues hold hands with each other with the water overflowing over their hands.
  The Inlander nation capital district (Marrow/The Maw) aligns the inside caverns of the centre waterfall, with the exception of the surface of the fjords outlined by glass walls, along the side of fjord. The Inlander statue is a nameless ancient viking King, simply referred to as The King. The Inlander develops are largly into the interior of the fjord. For the Inlanders, due to the nature of Meridian (trading hubs), this nation functions mostly as a capitalist country. Thus, there is a clear class divide between the poor and the rich. While the rich tend to own massive dwellings near the water's surface. The poor tend to leave more inwards into the caverns (the poor districts resembling more of the "Walled City".
  For the Outlander (The Valkaender) side of the fjord, the landscape is mostly undisturbed, with the exception of one large statue of a nameless ancient Queen (with clear asian motif and attire) on one side of the waterfall’s apex. Forming the other half of the waterfall structure. The Inlander territory infrastructure is mostly formed of a vast network of treehouses and structures built into the forest that dwell on the fjords’ landscape.
  The main valley (Desolation Valley and River) eventually feeds into the ocean. Due to the proximity to the ocean, this region is often plagued by hurricanes and tsunamies. Under Desolation Sound, the central train station (Union Station Exchange) can be seen, as it is built under the river with a glass dome. The train tracks can been seen running under the river.
  At feet of the statues, is the main central post (headquarters) of the Rangers. Ranger Outpost Desolation Valkyrie. The structure is a cabin built into a small cavern opening at the base of the lake. A section of the outpost, inside the cavern also oversees the Central Exchange rails.
