Bardier Inc.
The Bardier (Inc.) Continental Superconductor (SC) Magnetic Levitation (MAGLEV) Train system is as the name suggests.
It is a cross-continental SC MAGLEV superspeed train system built by Bardier Inc; hence the overall train system is commonly referred to as The Bard (and the trains, Bards). Others have also just referred to the trains as Maglev trains. However, this is a more formal identification and is thus used less often.
The train system serves as the main method of transportation for cargo and people across various Nations and Territories. This option has become the main mode of transportation across long distances due to its a) speed, b) convenience (as train systems have been built to be easily accessed by nations), c) lack of weather impact (due to it being built mostly underground), d) its energy saving environmental impact.
While Inlander often rely on it for communiting and travel as well, Outlanders only use it for trade of goods with Inlanders.
This does not mean other modes of transportation do not exist. Aircraft are still used mostly by military-based organizations for border security reasons. Wheelbase vehicles are also still being used within Nations and cities. However, mostly small electrical vehicles. Outlanders also rely mostly on surface wheel-based vehicles. It should be noted that The Bard train system does cross tectonic plate fault lines (in two locations, location Alpha and Beta). These locations are highly monitored and maintained. In these locations, the train does rise to travel closer to the surface region to allow for less possible impact of the movement of the tectonic plates. Location Alpha also serves as the main company location of Bardier Inc.
