Wild Man

The Wild Men are native to Kingir, but may be found throughout the Mare Nostrum and so far north as the Barbaric Wild. Standing seven to eight feet tall and weighing in at 300+ pounds, the Wild Men are distinguished by rather thick brindle fur, denser on the shoulders than elsewhere on the body. They possess very sharp, hard claws, and powerful jaws capable of inflicting great damage.

Anatomy

Wild Men are roughly humanoid goblins, larger than most species(typical members range from 7'-8' tall and weigh in at 400+ pounds), equipped with clever hands and powerful claws and teeth, fully capable of inflicting great damage with either. The creatures are athletic and unnaturally silent

Growth Rate & Stages

Wild Men mature over a period of 12-15 years. Immature specimens possess a downy yellow fur that darkens into it's adult brindle.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Wild Men have heightened perception, able to see clearly in conditions of dim light, comparable to an elf. Their hearing is especially keen, and they can hear sounds beyond the range of most species, comparable to a bat. Their ears can pivot at the base and are directional.
