Nitocris, Divine Adoratrice and Eye of Ra
Nitocris was the Divine Wife of Amun from the age of eighteen, daughter of the pharaohs of the last native dynasty, when she was caught up in the intrigues of the Forty-two Immortals, who sought to bring her into their order. The Eternal Ra wished to bind Isis into her mortal frame, but the Temple Dancer helped her escape, then directed her on the path that made her the House of Ammut, when it became Eye of Ra and ruler of Philae’s sacred island.
Nitocris was selected by Ammut herself, and elevated to its current post by the actions of the Eternal Ra and the Beloved of Seth, who installed it to protect Khemet from an invasion by any southern armies. It has held the island since as the Divine Adoratrice, the God Wife of Amun, and Eye of Ra.
It uses its Disguise ability to feign being alive, in a contested roll of Disguise vs. Spot. As it is a fairly ancient ghoul with no magical abilities nor psionics to aid in the masquerade, it still resembles it as it was, a 96 year old woman, albeit with fangs and claws.
Unlike the ancient dead of the Forty-two Immortals, Nitocris does not go quiescent or dormant for periods. It is constantly active, and fairly lucid (when well-fed), maintaining the security and profitability of the apparently contradictory goals of being border patrol AND tourist center. Nitocris maintains a sizable spy network but remains in Philae personally.

General Physical Condition
Nitocris was 96 at death, but ghoul reanimation has energized it with a healthier, plump form more appropiate to a much younger woman.

Nitocris has full breasts and ample hips with a swaying gait that inspires lust still.
Facial Features
Nitocris was reckoned a great beauty in her youth, and enjoys high cheekbones, a slender, narrow face, and a high forehead today for all her skin is wrinkled and only taut when she opens her mouth, something she can do wide enough her jaw appears unhinged.
Special abilities
Charnel Feasting(Ex) Nitocris does not heal naturally, but it can restore one hit point for every twenty pounds of sentient flesh it devours.
Ghoul Fever(Su) Nitocris’s fangs bear ghoul fever, which requires a Fortitude check against DC 23 or inflicts 1d3 Con and 1d3 Dex damage every day. Those who die from ghoul fever rise up at the next midnight as ghouls.
Paralysis(Ex) Nitocris’s claws require a Fortitude check against DC 23 or those struck become paralyzed for 1d4+1 rounds. Elves are immune to this effect.
Psionics(Su) Nitocris has 86 powers points it may spend on the following: deceleration, far hand, psionic knock, telekinetic force, telekinetic maneuver, and telekinetic thrust. It manifests at 8th level.
Turn Resistance(Ex) Nitocris is turned or rebuked as a 15 HD undead.
Undead Qualities(Su) As an undead, Nitocris is immune to poison, sleep effects, paralysis, stunning, disease, and death effects. It is not subject to critical hits, nonlethal damage, ability drain, or energy drain. It is immune to damage to it’s physical ability scores (Strength, Dexterity, and Constitution, the last of which it does not possess) as well as to fatigue and exhaustion effects. It is immune to any effect requiring a Fortitude save unless the effect works on objects or is harmless. Nitocris is not at risk of death from massive damage but when reduced to 0 hp or less is destroyed. Nitocris is not affected by raise dead and reincarnate spells and abilities, though resurrection and true resurrection can turn it into the person it was before becoming undead. Nitocris does not need to breathe, eat, or sleep, though it must rest to regain psionic power points.

Nitocris is so well versed in Khemeti religion she goes unquestioned save by those seeking truth. She is gracious and polite, but depends on the other Mothers for the latest developments and advances.
Wealth & Financial state
Nitocris commands the islands of Philae and harvests all the income Philae generates. If this proves inadequate, she is underwritten by the Waset pretty much on demand. It is believed even the basileus would provision her if asked.
