Yushio Kenji

After losing her arm during the raid on Nero, Yushio was granted an experimental cybernetic arm much akin to the model Lyra used. However, while Lyra´s arm was using electromagnetism, Yushios Arm works with a special type of tungsten-wire with several uses in and out of combat. Outside of that however, she still is a highly trained soldier with lots of combat experience that certainly makes her a good fit for the OUC.

-WCP "Wireshot": A special prototype of combat prosthetic arm that uses an electrically charged tungsten wire. Yushio can either use the wires to traverse terrain akin to a grapple hook, or to constrict enemies and on command, heat the wire to slash right through them. Since the wire is also hard to spot during combat, she can set up several traps to neutralize the enemy before he is even aware of her presence.   -D-4 Deflector: A modified version of a Medjai sword that uses a special type of alloy to be able to deflect any type of projectile in any direction desired.   -"Bad Idea": An unauthorized modification to Yushios Wireshot-Arm that adds an integrated rifle using Frankfurt Treaty Alliance ammunition. The barrel can adjust itself to match the enemies distance, being able to transform into a shotgun or a sniper on command, but overheats pretty fast.

Yushio was a mere child when her father, Lord Ganishima Kenji, rebelled against the Medjai who used the colony to throw the Roc homeworld Aquila out of orbit. The damage that this maneuver caused hit Yushios homeworld Niohs the hardest, resulting in earthquakes all over the globe and further weakening the Niohri. When the rebellion was unsuccessful, the Medjai destroyed Niohs´ surface, reducing the last remaining cities to ashes.   Traumatized and deeply infuriated by this, Yushio was completely powerless, seeing her people surrender to the Medjai and becoming their puppets. Knowing that the Niohri would only be used as cannon fodder from then on, Yushio swore to one day bring down the madman who caused this suffering: Set Neomatrix.   At the age of 18, she enlisted in the military, fully aware that she´d only be fighting for the Medjai but this was the only way for her to get closer to Set, as part of his high command. A few years later, she was only inches away from killing him, but Set quickly overwhelmed her, threatening Yushio with more sanctions for her people should she not comply with his orders.   Completely broken and hopeless after this incident, Yushio had no other choice but to play along, as any attempt to oppose Set would result in severe consequences not only for her people but also for herself. However, there was light at the end of the tunnel: When the Medjai ordered an attack on the human colony Nero to abduct the High Chairman of the Covenants Galactic Council, Yushio was incapacitated and taken as POW by Fireteam Starseal. When she was interrogated by the OUC about the attack, she showed herself being surprisngly cooperative as she finally met someone who could become a threat for her arch nemesis. Much to the surprise of her interrogators, she offered to join the OUC in their counter invasion of Bunker Colony 42, but was turned down at first as the OUC feared that she might be a spy.   After several tests regarding her loyalty, Richard, who was put in charge of Starseal at the time, agreed to let her join and together, they would finally take revenge on Set in TERRA AFTER EARTH: DEN OF THE WOLVES.

Yushios motivation is to liberate her people from the Medjais rule and to make them pay for their warcrimes, especially Set Neomatrix.
